Contact NAU's Internship Coordinator for students
Partnered internships
What is a partnered internship? Accordion Closed
In addition to providing support for students to explore and find an internship that fits their needs, goals, and interests, Career Development also manages several annual internship programs. These programs are the result of partnerships that NAU has established with companies, organizations, and non-profits to offer multiple internship positions in a variety of major areas. These internships may run once a year during a summer or semester term or may run year-round with specific application periods.
While NAU Career Development strives to provide support, coaching, and resources for all students for all internships that companies and organizations are offering to NAU students, students should be advised to work with their college’s internship coordinator or program director, as well as their academic advisor for the best way to find major-specific internships and get support in enrolling in an internship class.
How do I apply for a partnered internship? Accordion Closed
Partnered Internships are different than regular internships in that the student will need to apply through the Career Development office instead of via Handshake. Students should make an appointment with the Internship Coordinator via Handshake or send an email requesting a 45-minute appointment.
