Sandbox requirements

Sandbox sites must contain the following elements before they are considered complete and can be submitted for review.

Global requirements

These requirements must be met on every page and post within your Sandbox site:

Create the following pages within your Sandbox site with all of the bulleted elements:

Fill out the Contact Information panel so it populates a complete contact block and footer
Use at least one social media account, even if your site doesn’t have one
Use one or both of the Person and Info fields
Use at least one of specific panels, either Academic Program Levels or Departments
Use the Posts shortcode to highlight a post from your site (requires publishing at least one Post first)
Use the Events shortcode to highlight an event (requires publishing an Event View first)

Add at least 2 images from the NAU photo library
Images should be inserted as an image callout or image caption shortcode
If using the image callout, you can use the title and description, title only, or description only
Apply hyperlinks to all image shortcodes
Utilize the two-column layout
Either insert the image callouts in each column or one image in one column and associated text in the other column

When possible, include links that are appropriate for your site. Links should be added according to current usability and accessibility guidelines.
Include a link to an external page
Include a link to a page within your site
Add a .pdf from your media library
Add a button
A linked email address and phone number
- How-to article
An ordered list (ex: steps that must be completed in order)
An unordered list (ex: bullet points)
Optional: Embed a youtube or vimeo video embedded into the page
Optional: add links using the dropdown list shortcode
Optional: incorporate anchor links into the page using the anchor link guidelines

A permalink for the page that is different from the title
- Often used for departments with abbreviations
- Example: Permalink = COE, page title = College of Education
