New Incoming Students
Follow these steps to complete your enrollment and Academic Advising appointment if your first semester at NAU is fall 2024 or spring 2025 semester. If you are a currently enrolled student please refer to appointments and drop-in.
Step One: Priority Enrollment Accordion Closed
Your first term enrollment at NAU begins by completing a Priority Enrollment (PE) profile. Your Academic Advisor will have access to this profile and the information you provide allows your advisor to review your transfer credit and test scores, make informed course recommendations, and prioritize your advising appointment.
When to Submit a Priority Enrollment profile?
- Spring 2025 Admits: opened July 1, 2024
- Summer or Fall 2025 Admits: opens February 1, 2025
Priority Enrollment will remain open for submissions up until the start of your first term. The sooner you submit your Priority Enrollment profile, the sooner an advisor will be in touch and can help you complete your enrollment. We recommend you submit as early as possible.
You will receive an email confirmation once you have submitted Priority Enrollment; please check your email often and follow up on any action items presented by your advisor, and move on to step 2.
Step Two: Online Module Accordion Closed
Review the Advising Module(s) below to learn about using NAU tools, your degree requirements, enrolling in classes, and reading your schedule. This will allow you to better prepare for your advising appointment, and make the most of the time you have with your Academic Advisor.
NAU has a variety of wonderful resources and opportunities you can take advantage of while at NAU. In addition to the module, review the NAU Student Resources.
