Progression Plans Learn how to best use your Progression Plan to plan for your classes

In addition to an academic advisor, students have access to a variety of resources to stay on track!

Advising Tools

Academic Advisement Report – The Academic Advisement Report (AAR) is a valuable tool for identifying ALL of the required coursework for graduation.  Review your AAR regularly to see how your courses fulfill graduation requirements.

JacksPlanner – is designed to help you plan the sequence of your courses. This dynamic tool can help you map out how many units you plan to take each term, understand how courses in a summer term might impact your completion date and more. This tool should be used in partnership with your academic advisor.  Learn more about it by watching a tutorial. Discuss your plan when you meet with your academic advisor.

Progression Plans – are static tools that can provide a guide to the courses required for each term. These tools are not meant to replace regular conversations with an academic advisor.  Utilize the Academic Advisement Report for a list of degree requirements. Utilize JacksPlanner for a dynamic view of program progression.

Academic Progression Letter Requests – if you are an international student requesting a progression letter for your embassy – please submit your request here.

Transfer Tools – if you are a transfer student, watch this short video on transfer tools to help with your transition to NAU.
