Transferring Credits to NAU
Official Transcripts Accordion Open
Official transcripts and Score Reports are how NAU will post class credit to your account, and come directly from the organization granting the credit (community college, CollegeBoard, IB, etc…)
Dual enrollment transcripts must be sent from the college granting the credit. High school transcript is not sufficient for college credits.
Please send your official transcripts and/or score reports to:

Unofficial Transcripts Accordion Closed
Unofficial transcripts and Score Reports can be emailed from student to advisor. They are used to unofficially evaluate how credits will transfer to NAU. Unofficial evaluation can be used by advisors to enroll students in their next level of coursework.
Please send your unofficial transcript(s) or Score Report(s) to docimaging@nau.edu and to your Academic Advisor from your NAU email.
NOTE: Students are still required to send official transcripts to receive credit.

Transfer Credit Policies Vary by Major
While this page gives general guidance, transfer rules can be complex. Course transferability, maximum units, GPA impacts, and program admissions may vary by college or degree plan. Always speak with your Academic Advisor before enrolling in outside coursework or assuming credits will apply toward your degree.
