AZ GEAR UP Lumberjack Leadership Summit

June 9-12, 2025 | Flagstaff, Arizona

Arizona GEAR UP invites current 10th, and 11th graders to join us for the 2025 Lumberjack Leadership Summit. This year’s summit will include hands-on STEAM activities and participating in engineering activities. Students will also have the opportunity to brush up on their leadership skills and explore life after graduating high school. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about the collegiate experience from actual college students and see what being at a university is really like.

This year’s summit will take place in-person Monday, June 9th – Thursday, June 12th at the Northern Arizona University Mountain Campus in Flagstaff, Arizona. Students will get to live on-campus in the Mountain View residence hall and eat in the dining hall just like college students.

Eligibility Requirements.

• Must be attending an Arizona GEAR UP (5E’s High School or A60 High School)
• Must be a current Sophomore or Junior
• Must be able to participate in all Leadership Summit dates
• Must stay on campus at Northern Arizona University
