Project Components

The design of Arizona GEAR UP includes two project components:

1. Cohort Student Services, serving cohorts of students in high schools in low-income communities throughout Arizona
2. Local and State Collaborations, advancing broader and shared aims with a variety of partners who also strive to improve educational outcomes in the State.

Additionally, research and evaluation are key elements of the Arizona GEAR UP model, with GEAR UP goals and performance-based objectives evaluated annually. Arizona GEAR UP is also a member of the national multi-state College and Career Readiness Evaluation Consortium (CCREC).
