Venues

NAU Theatre is home to a collection of vibrant, inspiring spaces designed to spark creativity and support every stage of the artistic process.
Our two theatres, performance lab, and Design Lab are all located in the Performing Arts Building (Building 37).

Clifford E. White Theater

The Clifford E. White Theater is our signature 300 seat proscenium venue facing Knoles Drive — a welcoming home for musicals, Shakespeare, Contemporary, classic, and global works. To explore upcoming productions, visit the Central Ticket Office.

The Studio Theater

The Studio Theater is one of our most adventurous spaces. This flexible venue has been transformed into the round, tennis court, modified thrust, and countless other configurations, giving students hands on experience with a wide range of performance styles and audience relationships. For current shows, contact the Central Ticket Office.

Classroom & Lab Spaces

Room 151 Performance Lab
Located across from the Costume Shop, this dynamic acting and directing space is a hub for classes, rehearsals, creative work, and student organization meetings.

Design Lab

A lively gathering place for design students, this lab supports coursework, project development, and Theatre Student Organization activities — a space where imagination becomes tangible.

Ponderosa Dance/Movement Studio

Just across Parking Lot 13, the Ponderosa Studio is a beautifully equipped movement and dance space shared with the Kitt School of Music and the Community Dance Program. It provides a safe, professional environment for movement, dance, and voice performance courses.
