Counseling Services

Jacks Care 24/7

Offers individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as outreach, consultation and emergency support.

Free mental health support for all NAU students regardless of campus location.


Lumberjack CARE Center

Mental Health Support Squad

The Lumberjack CARE Center provides Case Management, Advocacy, Resources, and Essential Needs to all students. 

The MHSS is a group of undergraduate and graduate students who are trained and supervised by professionals and are a resource for all peers.


NAU Resilience Project

Campus Connect

The Resilience Project is a training and resource to help students learn how to “bounce back” in the face of adversity.

Campus Connect gives presentations that can be from anything from stress management, to nutrition, to suicide prevention.


Substance Use Disorder Program (SUDS)

The SUDS program provides individual or group sessions for those who are seeking assistance. 


Off Campus Resources


Flagstaff Alcoholics Anonymous provides multiple services to help those in the Flagstaff community struggling with alcohol addiction.

The Guidance Center is a Behavioral Health service and 24 hour crisis hotline for all Arizona Residents.

The Flagstaff Medical Center offers counseling and other medical services for those with mental health or substance abuse issues.
