State Risk Management has purchased an accident only policy to cover enrolled students and registered volunteers while in domestic travel status.

Enrolled NAU Students of the State of Arizona University System traveling to and from approved University programs in authorized mode of transportation:  Coverage is specific to all NAU enrolled students while they are participating in NAU sponsored and supervised student domestic travel activities, except intercollegiate sports.

Registered NAU Volunteers working for and on behalf of the University/State:  Coverage is specific to all NAU registered volunteers while engaged in NAU sponsored and supervised volunteer activities.  The State provides coverage to registered volunteers under the following conditions:  during domestic travel that falls within the course and scope of the volunteer’s authorized activities, and while traveling in a State authorized vehicle.  Commuting to and from a covered volunteer activity is not covered.
