Freshman year is an overwhelming time full of new experiences. You have a meal plan which allows you to eat essentially wherever and whenever, classes spread out leaving you with more time, and best (or worst) of all: no rules! The Health and Learning Center (HLC) at NAU is a great destination for many things and has many amenities. In addition to having classrooms, the HLC includes the Recreational Center for all of your fitness needs, a Medical Clinic, food stops, and private/semi-private study areas!
