I love all kinds of noodles, but sometimes they can get too rich and heavy. These sesame soba noodles are actually quite light and delicious. Soba noodles are a kind on Japanese noodles made from buckwheat flour, they taste a little different from regular noodles but they are still very delicious.
Ingredients:
- Soba noodles
- ¼ Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 2 Tbs Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbs Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbs Sugar
- 1 Clove of Garlic, finely minced
- 1 Tsp Grated Ginger
- 2 Green Onions, thinly sliced
- Optional:
- Chopped cilantro
- Sesame seeds
- Hard boiled egg
Steps:
- Cook Soba noodles in boiling water according to the instructions on the bag
- Drain and rinse in cold water
- Whisk together in a small bowl, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger
- In a larger bowl combine the noodles, and sauce you just made, along with the green onions and any other toppings you want
- Enjoy
This recipe is really easy to make and does not require lots of skills. It’s also great year round. I hope you enjoy this recipe and keep cooking!
