If you’re like me eating pasta can get very boring, but pasta is so cheap that it’s hard not to eat it all the time. This recipe will help you get out of a pasta rut and look like you can make more than just spaghetti.
Ingredients:
- Rigatoni Pasta (you could also use penne, shells, or ziti)
- Pasta Sauce
- Mozzarella
- Grated Parmesan
Steps:
- Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Cook a few minutes less than what the box says because it will finish cooking in the oven.
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit
- Drain the pasta and add back into the pot. Add in the sauce.
- Cut up about ½ cups worth of Mozzarella into small cubes. Grate ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese. Add both into the pasta, stir.
- Add the pasta to a baking dish and add more cheese on the top.
- Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly. This takes about 5-10 minutes, but keep an eye on it.
- Serve and Enjoy!
This dish is super easy to make and it makes pasta night a little bit more fun. I hope you enjoy making this dish, and If you want it to be extra cheese you can add in ricotta cheese. You can make this for a big crowd or for just one person. Keep on cooking.
