Arizona GEAR UP, in collaboration with Expect More Arizona, created a College and Career Planning Guide, aimed at 8th grade students and their families. Premised around four grade-appropriate steps to success  – Dream, Plan, Work Hard and Track, the Guide contains important information about education options –types of credentials and types of institutions, career exploration, and high school course recommendations. It also provides:

• a checklist for tracking progress 8th grade through 12th grade,
• tips for finding money for college
• a list of postsecondary institutions in Arizona, with accompanying map
• a form for students to fill out to create their own plan to achieve their dreams
