As a new Lumberjack you’ll navigate advising resources and degree completion with help of an advisor. This visual gives you a snapshot of your advising experience here at NAU.

As an incoming first-year student or exploratory student you’ll start at with our First-Year Advising team at Gateway Student Success Center and then transition to a college advisor based on your major. You’ll work with your college advisor on your journey towards graduation.

As a transfer student you’ll start with your a college advisor based on your major. You’ll work with your college advisor on your journey towards graduation.

Once admitted to NAU, complete a Priority Enrollment profile. This profile helps us plan for your arrival.

Once your profile is complete, an advisor will reach out to you to discuss course selection and enrollment.
