Gateway Priority Enrollment Updates FA19

Posted by university-advising on February 20, 2019

Here are some important PE updates I wanted to share with you all. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

  1. Students can change their profiles themselves at edu/priorityenrollment up until March 14th (extended from March 1st)
    1. After this date, any changes will need to be noted in a SalesForce comment. However, advisors can change interest area by clicking on a student’s profile in PEAdmin
  2. PRISM team will begin bulk enrollment on March 15th and through spring break
    1. This process involves identifying groups of students who need the same 3-4 courses and running a mass enroll function into those clusters of courses
  3. PE training is the morning of March 25th. Immediately after training, advisors will begin to review PE profiles.
  4. Student workers called Enrollment Assistants (EAs) will begin helping in the resource area on March 4th for AHOD walk-in. Then, they will be back after spring break to help with PE.
  5. Advisor assignments will begin tomorrow for incoming students who have submitted PE. You may begin to receive emails from these students. Here are some frequently asked questions:
    1. Online student FAQ
    2. Can I change my major or PE profile?
      • Yes, direct students to go to edu/priorityenrollment. They can change their PE interest area and any other part of their profile there. Make sure they know to hit “submit” again to finalize any changes made.
    3. When will I get my schedule?
      • The sooner students sign up for orientation, submit all test scores, transfer credits, and everything in their PE profiles, the sooner they will get enrolled. However, we guarantee enrollment before the student’s orientation date.
    4. How do I sign up for Orientation?
      • Students sign up online at edu/orientation. Direct them to choose “Flagstaff Campus” -> “Fall Semester” -> “Freshman”
