The NAU Teaching and Learning Center Instructional Design Team supports Inclusive Excellence in teaching through workshops, course reviews and faculty consultation.

What is an Instructional Designer (ID) and how can they help me?

We support in-person, online, and blended learning. A TLC ID can help you create a better learning experience, improve student success, and save you time and effort in course design and teaching.

Teaching and Learning Center Instructional Designers can provide custom-tailored workshops in areas that can assist in unified and collaborative learning processes and strategies for departmental alignment with goals.

NAU offers several tools for use in your class, including the Lightboard Studio for video recording.

NAU holds a site license for all faculty and students with Top Hat. Use the tool to engage your students with checks for understanding.

Our designers collaborate with instructors in conjunction with the instructional design teams to plan and create course graphics, infographics, and enhanced video concepts to complement course content. Submit your request.
