With November closed, and the semester and calendar year wrapping up, fall 2023 has been a record-breaking travel season with over 860 more travel cases opened from this time last year!
The Reimbursement Processing Support department will be closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 25th – January 1st, 2024.

Please review the following updates and reminders:
- As a reminder Travel Policy training needs to be completed each fiscal year. Over 280 individuals have completed all modules to date.
- The training calendar for in-person Travel Booking training is available on the website through May 2024.
- There is a new! Travel FAQ resource on the Reimbursement Processing Support (RPSU) webpage. The site provides answers to/for your most frequently asked questions, and we hope it is a resource you will share with all NAU travelers. If there is a frequently asked question that we missed, please let us know by emailing Kate.Florman@nau.edu. We want this to be a dynamic resource that meets your needs – any and all feedback is welcome!
- The next Travel Liaison meeting with be Wednesday, January 17th from 1:30-3:00 PM.
Please add yourself to the new! Travel Liaison listserv: be added to the meeting invite. Instructions on how to add yourself to the listserv can be found on the ITS website.
- Travel cases without prior approval and opened post-travel (17%) of all submitted cases, down from last month by (.5%), continue to impact reimbursement processing times.
