I wish that I knew about group fitness!
One of the biggest fears I have heard about your first year in college is the infamous freshman 15. Whether this is a true phenomenon is entirely up to your discretion (though I have heard some people have tried to study it- let me know). To avoid it, most people resort to exercising, but it can be hard to get started alone. Even with a friend it is hard to develop a schedule that works 100% of the time. This is where group fitness comes in.
Everyday in the HLC, there are group fitness classes. These classes are much like the FIT classes offered, and the are open to everyone.; you can just show up. There are trainers who lead the class and can give you tips and tricks, and there are a variety of classes you can choose to attend.
