Do you like spending large amounts of money for small amounts of food? Have you ever wanted to try Korean BBQ? Do you want a reason to go downtown and take a break from studying for finals? If any of these questions apply to you, give Na D Li Korean Restaurant a chance the next time you go out for some food.
I had never eaten Korean food before this experience, so I had no idea what I wanted to order. There were a variety of options on the menu, with appetizers, soups and salads, BBQ, fried rice and others that I was too afraid to experiment with. Luckily the servers are very helpful with recommendations and the menu is full of pictures to help you make a somewhat informed decision; just be aware that the portions of the items in the pictures are smaller than they appear on the menu.
The atmosphere of the restaurant oozes with a mom and pop shop vibe, which I know I say a lot, but this time there was an actual family working there. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the K-pop playing in the background definitely sets the mood for food. Since this place is on the more expensive side, it is probably a good idea to try and go with some friends so that you can split an entree rather than ordering your own. When I went I ordered the thinly sliced BBQ beef, which came with a side of rice and miso soup, but it was $18 alone. That’s about the price of 3 burritos from Ralbertos or 15 boxes of pasta.
Overall everything about the Na D Li Korean Restaurant was great except for the price, so if you are feeling the need to treat yourself and you have a hankering for Korean definitely swing by when you get the chance. It is open from 11 AM to 9:30 PM on Monday, Thursday and Sunday, and from 11 AM 10:30 PM on Friday and Saturday but are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The address is 7 N San Francisco St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
