As this semester is coming to a close. I figure I would leave you with some essentials to help you survive finals week in the snow. Having something fun like a sled and making sure you have the proper attire for getting to your finals on time are some important essentials that I definitely suggest.
Number 1: A Sled
A sled is fun to have in your room for any time of the year in which there is snow on the ground but it’s especially fun to have when it’s finals week. Having a way to distress after a tough final is great for mental health!! Sleds are super easy to fun and are usually pretty cheap. There are also great sledding locations all over campus, north quad and south quad are just two of many. When it’s snowy you can bet that you will find people sledding and playing in the snow making it fun for everyone.
Number 2: Winter Gear
Winter gear is essential when it is this cold out my first two must would be a good pair of snow boots and a good winter coat. Snow boots should be waterproof as the sidewalks can get slushy and they should have good tread as that slush can also freeze over making it scary to walk to class on the ice. A good winter coat is nice to have as it will keep you warm. Winter coat should be waterproof or at least slick lined as it will help the snow fall right off it does start snowing. These two items also will last 4 years so all you have to do is store them in a bin when the weather gets warmer.
Finals can be a stressful time and can be even more stressful when it’s cold and there is snow on the ground but it definitely can be a lot of fun if you have all the right stuff!! With these items having the Kaylee’s Stamp of Approval you will definitely have a great end to your semester.
