American Horror Story is a television series that has a different theme and characters every season. The first season takes place in 2011 and follows a family who accidentally moves into a haunted house in LA. The house is haunted by all of the previous tannates that died or were murdered in the house. In the second season, the show takes place in 1964 and follows patients in an insane Asylum some of the patients are innocent and some are crazy and the people that run the Asylum are almost even more insane. The third season takes place in 2013 and follows a witches coven and the new witches as they learn to master their powers. The fourth season takes place in 1952 and follows a freak show and all of the unique characters that work in the freakshow. The fifth season takes place in 2015 and follows a haunted hotel that holds more secrets then it does tannates. The sixth season takes place in 2016 and is documentary style as it reenacts the horrors that a couple goes through when they buy a new house in South Carolina that is haunted by the spirits of the people the disappeared in Roanoke. The seventh season takes place in 2017 and follows a cult that is terrorizing a neighborhood in Michigan as an effect of the 2016 presidential election. The different seasons explore different horrors that take place in different years but all of the events that happen in the series are interconnected and in later seasons characters in some of the earlier seasons come back in later seasons. So if you are looking for something that is always changing and is full of mystery and intrigue I suggest that you watch American Horror Story.
