Review-and-Return Services
Review-and-Return is an an asynchronous review service for upper-level undergraduate and graduate students who have specific, content-related feedback requests. Review-and-Return services are different from our General Appointments, which are held face-to-face at one of our three Mountain Campus locations or online.

How does Review-and-Return work? Accordion Closed
Review-and-Return is an asynchronous service, which means that you will not meet with your tutor face-to-face. You will submit your assignment online along with a request for specific feedback, such as flow, organization, or consistency of ideas. Your writing will be reviewed by a Writing Assistant and returned with feedback within 24 hours.
To use Review-and-Return, log into our online schedule using your NAU ID and navigate to the Spring 2025 Review-and-Return page. Select an open slot, and attach your assignment to review along with 1-2 sentences about the feedback you’d like to receive.

Will Review-and-Return tutors copyedit my paper? Accordion Closed
Review-and-Return is not a copyediting service for formatting or citation corrections. If you would like feedback about your formatting or citations, please schedule an appointment with one of our Writing Assistants.
How do I meet with someone face-to-face? Accordion Closed
You want to schedule a general, synchronous appointment at one of our three Mountain Campus locations or online. To find an appointment, visit our online schedule and log in using your NAU ID (ex: xy123). Navigate to the Spring 2025 General Schedule and select an open appointment slot with one of our Writing Assistants for a time and day that works for you.
I’m a graduate student, how do I find Thesis- or Dissertation-support services? Accordion Closed
