First Student Card
Undergraduate students at the Flagstaff Mountain Campus have their first JacksCard or Digital JacksCard paid for as part of their enrollment deposit and receive their first card at no additional cost.
Digital JacksCard
If a student initially elects to receive a plastic JacksCard and would later like to receive a Digital JacksCard, there will be no fee. There may be a $30 fee applies to students who wish to transition from a Digital JacksCard to a plastic JacksCard. In both cases, only one format of JacksCard can be active at any time. First Card – $30
Graduate students, community campus students, part-time employees, alumni, and affiliates will pay $30 for their first card. Affiliates and employees (full or part-time) do have the option to request their department cover the cost of their first card. If this option is selected, please email jackscard@nau.edu with the cardholder’s EMPLID (7 digit ID number) and department SpeedChart number.
Replacement/Lost Card – $30
Full replacement cost will be charged to any cardholder who has lost or physically damaged their JacksCard. This replacement fee is non-refundable and all sales are final. Affiliates, employees (full or part-time), and students involved with a department do have the option to request their department cover the cost of their replacement card. If this option is selected, please email jackscard@nau.edu with the cardholder’s EMPLID (7 digit ID number) and department SpeedChart number.
Updated Card – $12
Cardholders who have their old card may purchase an updated/upgraded card for $12. The current JacksCard must be presented without any signs of physical damage and the photo must be at least one year old. The old card must be surrendered.
Stolen Card – $12
Cards reported stolen through the NAU Police Department can be replaced for a discounted rate. A copy of the police report is required.
Name Change – $12
JacksCard name changes are limited to legal changes of name and must be reflected in PeopleSoft system. The JacksCard Office cannot view “Preferred Name” at this time and is unable to issue IDs with that name. Change of name forms should be processed through the Registrar for students or through Human Resources for employees. Cardholder must present and surrender the current undamaged JacksCard when picking up the new card. If cardholder does not surrender their current card, they will be charged $30.
