Making a difference
Welcome to the Office of Indigenous Student Success at Northern Arizona University!
We provide individualized support in a caring and professional environment that respects and values our Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and all people who identify as Indigenous students. Come and meet our staff who can assist you with the transition from home to the university community. Our services are also available to all university students.
In partnership with the Native American Cultural Center, we offer:
- virtual one-on-one guidance with professional team member
- virtual peer mentor support
- connections to campus and off-campus resources
- virtual cultural events and activities (fall 2020 term)
Indigenous Student Success offers you the opportunity to connect with the campus community through a wide variety of events, activities, programs and presentations.

With over 100 tribes represented from across the country, our department assists Northern Arizona University in meeting Goal 3: Commitment to Native Americans.
