Resolutions
ASNAU-SR-001 Accordion Closed
A resolution asking professors to cancel class on Election Day 2020 to empower students to cast their vote and ensure their voice is heard.
ASNAU-SR-002 Accordion Closed
A resolution advocating for professors to incorporate mental health days into their classes to alleviate some of the stress from a challenging and breakless Spring 2021 semester.
ASNAU-SR-003 Accordion Closed
A resolution requesting for University agencies to recognize the impact of COVID-19 on students’ mental health and provide leniency to students wanting service and assistance animals for companionship.
ASNAU-SR-004 Accordion Closed
A resolution that calls on the University administration to raise the Flagstaff Mountain Campus minimum wage to be equal to the Flagstaff minimum wage, which is currently $15/hr, by the end of the Spring 2022 semester.
ASNAU-SR-3401 Accordion Closed
A resolution asking the University to permanently cancel class on general election days in November. Empowering students’ right to vote is important to ASNAU, and eliminating any barriers to voting is a step in the right direction to promoting a more equitable and representative local and state community.
ASNAU-SR-3402 Accordion Closed
A resolution that states the Senate of the Associated Students of Northern Arizona University affirms its support for Transgender and Gender Diverse students, faculty, staff, and community members, and in doing so, opposes any legislation aimed at limiting equality or resulting in the targeted discrimination of Transgender and Gender Diverse people.
ASNAU-SR-3403 Accordion Closed
A resolution in support of Transgender and the gender diverse, asking Northern Arizona University to expand gender neutral restroom access across campus.
ASNAU-SR-3404 Accordion Closed
A resolution calling on NAU to declare a climate emergency and develop their Climate Action Plan with a goal of carbon-neutrality by 2030. ASNAU asks the University Administration to make greater institutional investments in sustainability while working to ensure environmental justice is met.
