First Year Experience (FYE)
The First Year Experience (FYE) supports students’ educational persistence and facilitates the design of a meaningful life. All FYE work is built on the foundation that the student is the expert of their own life and that what a student needs most are radical collaborators and facilitators to bring their authentic selves into higher education. FYE courses and programming assist students in locating personally relevant resources, expanding academic skill, building supportive communities, developing growth oriented mindsets, and celebrating the unique competencies of each student.
Peak Performance: Mathematics
Summer Bridge Program
Peak Performance: Mathematics Summer Bridge Program is a free, online Summer program, designed to help incoming freshmen whose math placement is lower than desired. Students will be matched with a peer Math Coach who provides academic and “transition to campus” support during the summer. Additionally, the resulting preparation from this program can improve their math placement by allowing them to retake the math placement exam.
