Resources To Support SES Students
Undergrad academic success
Visit one of NAU’s many student support offices. First make sure you know how to contact your Academic Advisor. Then look into your options: access the Academic Success Centers and the Lumberjack Writing Center, First-generation Programs, and Career Development, and learn more about preparing for graduate school.
Support with personal, financial, or health challenges

Visit the Lumberjack CARE Center to learn about ways you can access help, food, financial assistance, and other resources. You can also get personalized help finding what you need – all you need to do is describe the challenge you are having and the CARE Team will reach out. Submit a CARE Referral for yourself, or ask anyone you know (at NAU or not) to submit one for you.
Community
Looking to connect with other students who share your background or interests? Check out NAU’s full list of clubs and organizations (in TrueBlueConnects). You will find may SES students deeply involved in Green NAU, the Geology Club, and DIGS (for graduate students). Undergrad research and internships
Find out how to start exploring undergrad opportunities to get involved in research. Learn about getting course credit for research, getting paid to do research, and how to build a network of support and mentors.
