Cline Library One Button Recording Studio Accordion Closed
The Cline Library One Button Recording Studio is a simplified video recording space that can be used without any previous recording experience. To learn more about video production, visit our training guide.
Kaltura Media Repository Accordion Closed
Kaltura is a web-hosted streaming media server for NAU. A streaming media server is an important component of a university’s information infrastructure. Media files are large, and they need to be delivered at different quality levels, file sizes, and file types, depending on the device that will consume them.
Lightboard Studio Accordion Closed
The Lightboard Studio provides faculty with a transparent writing surface that allows you to maintain eye contact with your students while explaining concepts. The specialized lighting ensures your dry-erase writing is clearly visible, and our professional microphone captures crisp audio. Whether you’re a math professor working through equations or an English instructor outlining course content, the Lightboard helps you create a more personal connection with your students compared to traditional recording setups.
Using the Lightboard Studio is straightforward for faculty. You simply write and teach as you normally would, and we handle the technical aspects and upload your completed video to Kaltura. This setup offers faculty another way to engage with students through video content, making it easier to explain complex ideas while maintaining the personal touch that comes from direct, face-to-face instruction.
To make an appointment to use the Lightboard Studio, contact TLC-Help@nau.edu.
