Need help paying for textbooks? The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) wants to support your academic growth. Apply for our Book Scholarship to help cover your textbook costs and other course materials. Scholarship Eligibility Full-time staff at NAU (Open to ALL STAFF including classified staff AND service professionals) Enrolled in classes for fall 2023 term Application Deadline: The SAC Book Scholarship application will be open from September 18th through September 29th (application submission will close at 5PM). 2021 CASA for Kids Recap
On Tuesday, December 7th bright and early at 7:00 a.m., the NAU CCFK Giving Tree Team (Claire Kerata, Erin Stam, Sabrina Stalker, and myself) delivered 75 gifts (supporting 25 children with 3 gifts each) and over $2,000 in gift cards to support additional Coconino CASA children. 2021 CASA for Kids’ Giving Tree Program
Greetings, One and All! Your opportunity to participate in the 2021 Staff Advisory Council Holiday Service Project Coconino CASA for Kids’ Giving Tree Program begins TODAY! Last year we supported 19 children by donating 57 gifts to the Giving Tree Program. This year our goal is to support 25 children with 75 unwrapped gifts. 21st Annual Warm Clothing Drive Recap
We are so excited to share that this year, the Staff Advisory Council sponsored the 21st Annual Warm Clothing drive and collected 1,461 items of clothing and 796 food items throughout the month of October from our Flagstaff and North Valley campuses, thanks to your generosity! Throughout the next week, clothing and food items (filling 80 bags with clothes and numerous boxes with food!) will be distributed to several local organizations and Louie’s Cupboard. Warm Clothing Drive Results
The Classified Staff Advisory Council's 17th Annual Warm Clothing Drive, in partnership with the NAU Student Philanthropy Council, collected 1951 pieces of clothing and 595 grocery items thanks to your generosity! Clothing items will benefit the Flagstaff Shelter Service, Sunshine Rescue Mission, Northland Family Help Center, and Sharon Manor. The non-perishable food items will benefit Louie’s Cupboard, NAU’s on-campus food pantry for in-need students and faculty.
