Research Fellow: Tamar Stern

Research Fellow

Tamar Stern is a Junior at Northern Arizona University, majoring in Political Science with a minor in French. Tamar is a member of several student organizations, including NAU Votes Coalition, Green Jacks, and Students for Justice in Palestine, where she enjoys collaborating with her peers and making an impact on her NAU community. She has been a fellow with the Arizona Students’ Association for two semesters where she has dedicated time to engaging students in local, state, and federal politics and fighting for students’ interests. As a research assistant for the Hispanic and Emerging Communities Lab, her work focuses on analyzing quantitative and qualitative data regarding relationships between the concepts of gun violence and sexual repression. Tamar plans to study abroad for a semester in France at Sciences-Po in the spring of 2025 and will return to NAU to graduate the following semester.
