New student check-in
Welcome to NAU
All new international students are required to complete the ISSS check-in process upon beginning their program at Northern Arizona University. The check-in process consists of three required steps.
- Step 1 must be completed before you arrive in the United States.
- Steps 2 and 3 must be completed after you arrive in the United States.
Completing all three steps is required for International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) to activate your SEVIS record. Failure to complete the entire check-in process may result in your SEVIS record not being activated, which could place you out of valid F-1 or J-1 immigration status.
