Programs overview
Our programs encourage Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian and other students who self-identify as Indigenous, to engage with the university community. You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and connect with other students.
Indigenous Student Support Program
The Support Program offers new freshmen/transfer, continuing, and graduate students personalized academic and financial aid guidance along with peer mentoring support, referrals to campus resources, student organizations and cultural activities, and access to one-on-one support.
Indige-Bridge to Success Program
The Indige-Bridge to Success Program offers new first-year students the opportunity to learn about resources and services during a two-day virtual program at the end of July prior to the fall 2021 term.
Peer Mentoring Program
The Peer Mentoring Program is comprised of seasoned NAU college students who serve as mentors to Indige-Bridge participants and other first-year students. All positions have been filled for the 2021-22 academic year.
