Workshops & Presentations

We are excited to visit classrooms and share about LWC resources to expand our reach. We are also happy to provide workshops and resources to improve writing skills across the university.

LWC Services Overview

In roughly 15 minutes, we will familiarize students with the resources and support we offer, including:

How LWC can improve your writing (and academic success overall)
Review-and-return services

Enrollment in writing support courses, including ENG100 and ENG405
Publishing their writing through our writing showcase

Skills Workshops

Writing workshops are tailored to the needs of the instructor, and can cover a variety of writing-related topics. These workshops typically run 15-30 mins. Popular topics include:

Starting the writing process
Integrating resources into your paper
Specific formatting overview and practice (e.g. APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.)
Paragraph structure
Peer review sessions
