ADE Assistive Technology Loan Library
IHD is pleased to provide, at no cost, a wide variety of assistive technology devices, equipment, software, and professional development materials to K-12 school personnel in Arizona. This program is made possible through a partnership between the Arizona Department of Education and the university’s Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP).
Our library is designed to provide short-term (four week) loans of assistive technology learning products to be used for the following purposes:
- consideration/assessment as part of the individualized education plan (IEP) development process or IEP recommendations
- classroom implementation on a time-limited basis
- serving as a temporary loaner during device repair or while waiting for funding
- providing an accommodation for a student on a short-term basis
- professional development (teacher training, skill development, etc.)
This program is not intended to provide long-term use of equipment.
