Coconino County Health and Human Services online courses
Through a partnership with Coconino County Environmental Health Services, the Arizona Hospitality Research and Resource Center, a unit of the Economic Policy Institute, provides an efficient way for individuals in Coconino County to fulfill public health requirements for certification as food handlers in public places and in backcountry settings through two online training courses.
If you have questions regarding these courses, visit our FAQ page or contact us at: 928-523-3737 or email: food@nau.edu. Additional information is also available on the Coconino County Health and Human Services website.
Note that currently (Fall 2020) the Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) offices in Flagstaff and Page are not open to the public due to COVID. If you have completed the Food Handler or Back Country Environmental course and need to exchange your voucher of completion for the final card, you may mail a copy of the voucher and a copy of your photo ID to the Environmental Services office along with your return mailing address and email (optional in Flagstaff) and they will send a copy of the final card. For additional information, including current protocols for the Food Managers course, contact CCHHS directly at 928-679-8750 (Flagstaff) or 928-679-7325 (Page).
