Our adventures

Road Scholar Programs offered by Northern Arizona University Road Scholar at Northern Arizona University - Road Scholar National website collection screencapture

In the American Southwest, a saguaro cactus stands sentry over a desert jackrabbit. An abandoned cliff dwelling is a reminder of Native American heritage. At sunset, the red-rock landscape glows as if plugged in. Led by expert instructors and leaders affiliated with Northern Arizona University, be immersed in history, culture, and geography as you discover this idyllic region’s national parks, urban centers, and off-the-beaten-path locales by foot, rail, raft, coach, and camera.
