With more than 40 members, there are plenty of opportunities to join NAU’s Undergraduate Student Government!

Elections

Campus-wide elections are held by ASNAU every spring for the Student Body President, VP of Inclusive Excellence, VP of Student Advocacy, VP of Civic Affairs, VP of Public Relations, and fifteen Senators​:

• Candidate packets are available here: 2026 Election Packet
• ASNAU Election Code and procedures for the process can be found here
• Potential Senator candidates must gather at least 100 signatures
• Potential Executive candidates must gather at least 150 signatures
• Results will be emailed to the student body the following day

Hiring

ASNAU lists hired positions on Handshake every spring.

• There are more than 20 staff positions open every year
• Potential candidates must apply through Handshake
• Potential candidates will be contacted for an interview
