Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid

Financial Aid Advisors

Assists students in applying for and managing financial resources for college, including loans, scholarships, and grants.

Meet with a financial aid advisor to ensure you maximize your financial options.


Emergency Loan Program

Emergency loans of up to $300 are available to all students. Must be repaid within 6 weeks of disbursement. 

Provides funding to assist currently enrolled NAU students facing unforeseen crises or hardships that require immediate one-time financial assistance.

Access2Excellence

AZ Promise Program

NAU’s Access2Excellence program guarantees tuition coverage for undergraduate Arizona Residents who have an income up to $65,000.

A state grant program that provides tuition and mandatory fees relief to eligible first-year students. Through this program, NAU will cover the remaining cost of tuition and mandatory fees not covered by your other merit.


NAU Advantage

Federal Work Study

Provides total tuition relief to eligible first-year and transfer students. Through this program, NAU will cover the remaining cost of tuition not covered by your other merit 

 The FWS program helps students meet their educational expenses through part-time employment.


Student Debt Relief Plan

Financial Aid for Diverse Student Populations

Learn how to take advantage and apply for Student Debt Relief. 

A list of scholarships and financial aid available to students who meet specific qualifications or demographics. 


Consortium Agreements

Childcare Voucher

A contract between a student and NAU allowing the student to receive financial aid to pay for and successfully earn credit hours at both NAU and another college or university  

Student parents may be eligible to receive an award to help with the cost of childcare
