Globus Collections at NAU

NOTICE: The nauhpc#dtn1 collection is being retired soon! Please begin using the NAU HPC Filesystems collection instead:

The newer NAU HPC Filesystems collection is effectively identical to the older nauhpc#dnt1 collection. However, if you have created a “guest collection” based on the older collection, you will need to create a new guest-collection (pointing to a directory on the newer collection) to continue sharing your files. Please contact ARC with any questions by emailing ask-arc@nau.edu to create a help-ticket.

 

Collection descriptions

Different storage systems utilize different “mapped collections” in Globus. From Globus’ file-browser, you may search for any of the below collections to transfer or share files:

• NAU HPC Filesystems
  • includes Monsoon’s /home, /scratch, /projects, and /common filesystems
  • unavailable to users without active Monsoon accounts
  • Note: “guest collections” may be created from this collection, but write-access is only enabled by default within the /scratch directory for security reasons. Please contact ARC if you wish to allow writing to a guest-collection that shares files within your /projects directory.
