Student Programming Funds Application
Student Programming Funds are restricted to $300 per registered student organization per semester for student-focused activities and events.
Applications for student organization events requesting Student Programming Funds for food and drinks from NAU Catering must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the event with a complete catering quote.
Qualifications for Student Programming Funds Accordion Closed
The applicant requesting student programming funds must be an officer or member of a registered and active NAU student organization.
Event Requirements:
- The event must be held on the NAU Flagstaff Mountain Campus, with the exception of a “No Frills” order that is taken off campus.
- The event must adhere to all requirements and guidelines listed within the Student Organization Manual (available on the Club Resources webpage under the “Student Organization Manual” tab).
- The event must be approved by the Office of Leadership & Engagement, Unions and Activities Office (UAO), and/or Campus Recreation.
- The event must be for the benefit of NAU students. The event cannot be for the benefit of alumni or donors, nor for fundraising unrelated to NAU student organizations.
- Event attendees cannot be charged an event entry fee.
- Food and drinks purchased with student programming funds cannot be resold or exchanged for a donation.
- The event’s expected attendance must be at least 75% NAU students.
Campus Services and Activities reserves the right to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Process for Student Programming Funds Accordion Closed
Student organizations must submit an event request through True Blue Connects for any planned event, meeting, or gathering. For more information, please refer to the Office of Leadership & Engagement’s webpage on planning student organization events.
- Student organizations must submit an event request through True Blue Connects. Please note: event requests must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the event date.
- Student organizations must meet with Northern Arizona Catering (University Union, Rm 209) to plan the catering order for the event or directly submit an order through www.northernarizona.catertrax.com.
- Student organizations must fill out the Student Programming Fund Application with a complete catering quote. All applications for Student Programming Funds must be submitted at least 7 days in advance of the event date.
- Campus Services and Activities will respond to the student organization with an approval or denial of the application.
