Arizona Tribal Enrollment
To qualify for residency based on tribal enrollment the student must have documentation of being an enrolled member of one of the 22 tribes recognized by the State of Arizona. This exception requires these exact specifications to be met. If the student does not meet these requirements or cannot provide the information requested but still thinks they qualify as an Arizona resident, please use the residency navigator to find which other petition or affidavit option is best.
Students can send their tribal documentation to Residency@nau.edu to be evaluated for residency. Please include the student’s NAU user ID so we can link it to the account.
