Service Professional Advisory Council
About the SPAC
The Service Professional Advisory Council (SPAC) is the officially recognized body to represent Service Professionals on campus.
We meet once each month during the academic year, usually on the third Thursday of the month, between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Service Professionals are encouraged to attend meetings either in person or by Collaborate. You do not need to be a Council member to attend! If you have concerns or ideas, share them with the Council or contact a SPAC member.
Meetings & events
Many thanks to University President Dr. Rita Cheng for speaking at our first SPAC meeting of the 2019-2020 year. She provided updates on all of the amazing things happening on campus, including the upgrades to the Science Annex, campus-wide classroom technology improvements, the new practice field for students and employees, as well as the volunteer efforts from NAU student athletes helping with the Museum Fire flood preparation. Dr. Cheng also spoke about future construction plans and exciting research initiatives. The meeting can be viewed from the Zoom recording.
Our next meeting will be on October 24 at 8:30 am in the ARD Large Pod.
