International partnerships

From learning about other cultures first hand to expanding the value of your college education, the benefits of international study are endless. Below are the international programs available through the School of Music.

China Connection: Shenyang Conservatory of Music

Northern Arizona University and The Shenyang Conservatory of Music have forged a special relationship through which students at both institutions can interact with their counterparts, broaden their educational experience, and deepen their cultural understanding of the globally-oriented world in which they interact.

Global Artist in Residence Program

The Global Artist in Residence program brings international musicians to the Northern Arizona University campus twice a year for one-to-two-week residencies with activities across campus and in the local community. A collaboration of the NAU School of Music, NAU College of Arts and Letters, NAU Center for International Education, and Center for Indigenous Music and Culture.
