Export control
Export control regulations govern the transfer of certain technologies, equipment, software, and information to foreign countries, organizations, and individuals. Researchers, faculty, staff, and students engaged in international collaborations, travel, shipping, or activities involving restricted parties may be subject to these requirements. NAU provides guidance, review processes, and resources to help the university community understand export control regulations, identify potential risks, and maintain compliance with federal laws while supporting research, teaching, and global engagement.
