Rod began a career in policing in 1984 and began teaching part-time at NAU in 2009. Teaching assignments at NAU have included public administration, criminal justice, intelligence, terrorism, and emergency management courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Rod’s doctoral research evaluated the effectiveness of an online training program at the Phoenix Police Department. | ||||

Monica received a DBA in Strategic Planning, an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources, and a Master in Human Resources Management (MHRM). Monica is a professor, researcher, and consultant in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Development, and Human Talent Management. Monica has more than 20 years of academic and professional experience in leading positions. Monica is an international Academic Accreditations Evaluator and Speaker. | ||||

Jessie completed her Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences at Florida State University, her Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology at Illinois State University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Central Florida. Jessie previously taught college courses on Adolescent and Lifespan Development and has guest lectured on Moral Development, Media as a Context of Human Development, and Parenting across cultural contexts. | ||||

Kitchka spent 14 years teaching science in private and public schools in Florida. Additionally, she taught Biology and Microbiology as an adjunct Instructor at Miami Dade College for 12 years. As an educator she achieved the highly regarded National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification in Early Adolescence Science. Kitchka’s research interests include inquiry-based science instruction, estimating the impact of scientific and educational research programs and initiatives, and policies that guide the development of diverse Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) workforce. | ||||

I have more than 20 years of teaching business courses experience in Turkey, UK, and the U.S. Most recently, in the U.S., I worked at Northwood University in Midland MI. I started as an assistant professor in 2015 and later I got promoted to program quality management and department chair in 2019. I was promoted to Associate Professorship in 2021. |
