Public Services – Property Surplus

Northern Arizona University (“University”) is required by Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) policy to maximize the use of all University assets. When assets are no longer needed, the University must also ensure the highest possible return from their sale.

Surplus property cannot be given away. The Surplus Property Department is responsible for managing excess assets in full compliance with applicable policies and regulations, while working to generate the best possible financial return for the University.

Public Sales

Items available for purchase often include:

  • Office furniture and equipment
  • Household furniture
  • Computers
  • Filing cabinets
  • Bicycles
  • Vehicles
  • And more

New property is added to warehouse inventory daily.

Visit the Surplus Property warehouse (Building 77) during public hours:
Monday–Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sales Policies

  • Items cannot be held.
  • All sales are final.
  • Payment methods: Cash, Check, Visa, or MasterCard.
  • All property is sold as-is, where-is.
  • No vehicle test drives.
  • Prices may change without notice.

Auctions

High-value or high-demand items are typically offered through auctions.
