Doctor of Physical Therapy Curriculum
The NAU DPT Program offers an innovative and learner-centered educational approach to becoming a physical therapist. The residential and hybrid curriculum are designed as a Competency and Entrustment-Based framework for DPT learners to prepare for the delivery of person-centered, value-based care reflective of contemporary practice. Learners will be coached by expert faculty as they gain the competence to carry out the responsibilities of a physical therapist demanded in the clinical environment today and in the future.
Our Residential Programs will take 28 months of full-time study to complete, while our Hybrid DPT program will be completed in 24 months. Your work in the classroom will be bolstered by extensive internship opportunities. Official degree progression: See the academic catalog for more information.
