Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant


Additional funding opportunity for NAU students

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is available to eligible Northern Arizona University undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree. This grant funding is limited.

Selected NAU students will receive up to $1,000 for the academic year ($500 per semester).

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant eligibility

The following criteria must be met for consideration but are not a guarantee of funds:

  • Complete the FAFSA by NAU’s preferred FAFSA filing date.
    • Students attending fall: April 15
    • Students not attending until spring: October 15
  • Be sure to include NAU’s school code: 001082.
  • Be eligible for the full Pell Grant as calculated by the FAFSA.
  • Meet NAU’s Satisfactory Academic Progress policy.

Please note that, due to limited funding, meeting the eligibility requirements and processing timelines does not guarantee a student will receive this grant.
