- Students in the Immersive Media and Games program from the Steve Sanghi College of Engineering earned an honorable mention at the 2026 Arizona Game Cup competition. The competition is a public event where students from across the state design, develop and showcase original games.
- Soccer forward Micala Boex has been named the Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after scoring the equalizer to tie GCU.
- Swimmer Hannah Rutten took first place in the 100-meter backstroke, the 100-meter butterfly and the 200-meter individual medley (IM), breaking the NAU Pentathlon record for the 200-meter IM.
- Jordan Sundin, the assistant director of utility services, was named a 2026-2027 emerging sustainability leader by Arizona Forward. The program brings together rising professionals from across Arizona who are passionate about sustainability, leadership and creating a stronger future for the state.
